We know that plenty of people decide to tackle their own DIY projects. We also know that if you want lasting results, it's really important to do things properly. At People Who Paint, we want to arm as many people as possible with P&D knowledge.
Dial-a-Decorator is a budget friendly way to get some professional and affordable help, guidance and support throughout your project.
We came up with this concept in response to the steady stream of calls we recieve from the DIY Army - what primer shall I use here? Does this need sanding? What's the difference between eggshell and emulsion? How do I fix this crack? Do I have to buy from an expensive brand? How much shall I get? Can I paint over this damp or mould?
The Internet is full of great resources, but sometimes you just need a good old human-being to tell you what to do.
HOW IT WORKS |
First, we will arrange a video call or an in-person viewing to see and discuss your project. Then we'll make you a personalised guide, perhaps with materials advice, instructions, a shopping list, or anything else discussed on the call. And while you carry out your project, we'll be on the other end of the phone in case you need us.
How much does it cost?
£300.
This is based on a one hour consultation, a corresponding write-up and 60 mins of call time. Of course if you're just painting a loo or something tiny we'll tailor the package accordingly. Likewise if your project is enormous we will ask for a bit more!
